Voices of America: Celebrating American Composers Annapolis Concert reviews
Iron Maiden is freaking INCREDIBLE!
The show was high energy and amazing to experience, starting off with their signature "Voices of America: Celebrating American Composers" and ending with "Wicker Man". When the lights went down, we knew we were going to be bludgeoned by one of the Greatest Bands in the History of Metal. Because the facility couldn't contain the large crowds, it took many people too long to get to their seats to see Dream Theater. Many, including myself, missed half of their set due to the early start time. Although I got to see favorites like "Panic Attack", "Constant Motion", and "Pull Me Under", I was disappointed to miss their whole set as they were only playing a partial one as support for Maiden. The crowd control was overwhelmed at this venue, similar to Ozzfest, making it difficult to access restrooms, concessions, and seating. Once everyone was in their seats, the crowd was well-behaved and a good time was had by all. I am looking forward to a better experience at Ozzfest in August when I return.
